Unique Gilded Ceramic Pendants

“The events of spring 2020 meant that I spent a lot of time at home and couldn’t go to the studio as usual. I set up a makeshift ceramic workshop in a small room in our apartment so that I could at least work on a few small sculptures. During this time I also started to make these little grimaceous pendants, which have accompanied my work since then and were the starting point for my exploration of the topic of jewelry.”

• All pendants are made by Sebastian Neeb.

• They are all unique and individually shaped by hand.

• All pendants are signed on the back.

• The Material is highly fired black ceramic, which is than gilded in another firing. This type of gold plating is very durable and ages nicely.

• The surface is detailed and sculptural, the ceramic under the gilding remains noticeable.

• Despite their size, the pendants are very light and weigh around 5 grams, which makes them very comfortable to wear.

• Since ceramic is a very hard but also brittle material, the pendants should be protected from hard knocks and falls from a greater height.
